Welcome to Lemonade Password Manager. By using our service, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Lemonade Password Manager ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Lemonade is a password management service that allows you to:
- Store and manage passwords securely
- Store environment variables and secrets (Env Vault)
- Generate strong passwords
- Share passwords securely with other users
- Access your passwords across devices
3. Account Registration
3.1 Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old to use Lemonade. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your account credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Store malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Share your account with others or sell access
- Reverse engineer or decompile the Service
- Use the Service to spam or harass others
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
5. Subscription and Payments
5.1 Free Tier
The free tier includes limited features as described on our pricing page. We reserve the right to modify free tier limits.
5.2 Paid Plans
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
5.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
5.4 Price Changes
We may change our prices with 30 days notice. Continued use after a price change constitutes acceptance.
6. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Key points:
- Your passwords are encrypted and we cannot access them
- You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data
- We may delete accounts that are inactive for extended periods
7. Intellectual Property
7.1 Our Rights
Lemonade and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.
7.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of any data you store in Lemonade. You grant us a limited license to store and process this data solely to provide the Service.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- Defects will be corrected
- The Service is free of viruses or harmful components
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Any damages exceeding the amount you paid us in the past 12 months

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

- Engage in fraudulent activity
- Fail to pay applicable fees

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Lemonade operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
14. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Lemonade regarding the Service.
